They told me it’s totally normal to be up to 2cm in the entire 3rd trimester. It wasn’t a concern because the dilation stayed the same and my water didn’t break.I gradually dilated the rest of the pregnancy but he didn't come out till 38 1/2 weeks (yay!) the last 3 weeks I was 5 cm dilated & 50% effaced!
