The hot oil warning is not for engine oil, it's for the automatic transmission. Check your transmission fluid level and condition. Also check for any obstruction of the transmission cooler. The trans stays cooler keeps the trans around 120-160°F normally, and around 180°F with A/C going. It still heat soaks from the A/C, but it takes much longer to do so. Jeep made a change to the fan settings and the gauge read out at some point from what I understand.Its been going on since we go the Jeep, dealership is still playing dumb.
