Plan on it being plugged in and needing ether to start in the winter and ether anytime the temp drops below 70. There is no comparison from the eight-speed to the 16 speed powershift in a John Deere. 16 and 18 are nearly bulletproof, 8 and 15 were solid transmissions but very rough imo.
