It was my understanding that all of the official star wars media, including the Kotor games and many of the other games produced by official studios, was in canon for the star wars universe up until Disney bought out star wars. Meaning Revan and Bastilla as well as the whole story was official canon.Lightside ending is officially canon, yet the KOTOR 2 outcome and progression ultimately comes down to the response the Exile chooses in the beginning of the game. For example, if you say Revan was female and was not redeemed, then it makes the official canon ending of KOTOR 1 void for the sake of that game.The games - KOTOR and KOTOR 2 - are not canon. They are not. However, the books and comics are. There's more to Star Wars than movies and games.
