Sep 28, 2020 · With RBR50 in AP mode 3 of 4 satellites are stuck in config sync backhaul status. My ISP is Comcast/xFinity and I'm using their gateway. It's worked fine in the past. The one satellite that connects ok is an RBW30 on firmware V2.5.04. The other satellites and the router are on firmware V2.7.0.70. I've spent hours with Netgear Support and have ... Have to toggle my wifi connection on the phone to get it update the link. This is really frustrating. My system info: Router: RBR50 V2.6.1.40. RBS 1 (Garage, wireless connection): RBS50 V2.6.1.40. RBS 2 (Main floor, backhaul): RBS50 V2.6.1.40 (missing on the network map) RBS 3 (2nd floor, backhaul): RBS50 V2.6.1.40 (always in magenta status)

Recently (about 2 days ago) my satellite refuses to "sync" with the router. In my routers webpage It shows a good connection over 5G as expected. Here are a few possible reasons behind the purple light on Orbi router or satellite. Internet outage. Damaged or loose cables. Outdated or corrupt firmware. Incorrect placement of devices. The router can not sync with the satellite. Temporary bug or glitch. Hardware failure.Took the satellite downstairs and set it near the router (~6 feet away.) Tried to sync - still failed.
