Basically, Kineticist has a lot of good 2A abilities that don't use the attack trait. You want to pair that with a class that has a lot of action freedom. Monk is really good at that because being able to Flurry -> Impulse is very handy. You won't be doing Elemental Blast much, but you'll want to leverage a lot of the 2A impulses.As a tip for playing a kineticist: DO NOT try and maintain two forms of kinetic defenses unless they are really strong. The only ones that qualify, in my opinion, are water, earth, and aether.
