DayZ has more longevity than rust. You can play less time on DayZ because you can log out with your loot and cant lose it whilst logged off. I play as a passive survivor. I start with a stone knife and an stick with a burlap pack and go from there. Next goal is a water proof jacket off some kind and some decent boots. I loot to survive and once I get geared up I hunt zombies and wolves. Normal dayz. Experiential is mostly interesting for modders and content creators.
